Dorr Standard Service opened on 142nd Ave more than 60 years ago, when Dorr was a fraction of its current size and most of our customers paid in cash at the counter. The building is paid off. The equipment is owned outright. There's no franchise fee, no corporate quota, and no service writer working on commission.

Are your technicians ASE-certified?
Yes. Every technician who turns a wrench at Dorr Standard holds current ASE certification. We also carry parts and labor warranties on every repair, so if something we fixed fails, we fix it again at no charge.
Do I need an appointment for an oil change?
Walk-ins are welcome and most oil changes are done in under 30 minutes. If you want a guaranteed time, call (616) 681-9136 the day before.
